About the Journal
Aims and Scope
The Annales de la Faculté des Sciences de Toulouse were founded in 1887 by H. Andoyer, B. Baillaud, G. Berson, T. Chauvin, E. Cosserat, A. Destrem, C. Fabre, A. Legoux, P. Sabatier, T.-J. Stieltjes.
They publish high level articles and surveys, written in french or in english, in all fields of mathematics.
Periodicity
The Annales de la Faculté des Sciences de Toulouse publishes 5 issues per year.
Best practices
The Annales de la Faculté des Sciences de Toulouse (AFST) adheres to the Code of practice, as detailed on Pages 2-5 of the linked document edited by the European Mathematical Society Ethics Committee.
The journal also acknowledges the code of conduct and guidelines for journal editors and requires its reviewers to comply with the guidelines specified by Committee on Publication Ethics - COPE.
The Annales de la Faculté des Sciences de Toulouse is part of the Free Journal Network.
Journal Policy
Open Access Policy
The AFST follows a true Open Access policy:
- The AFST provides immediate online open access to its content.
- No subscription is needed to access the articles, and no download fees are charged.
- Authors are not charged for publication in this journal, and the journal does not request any submission fee nor any article processing fee.
- A printed volume is published yearly and available on subscription.
Copyright and Licensing policy
- All copyright is retained by authors. N.B. : Articles are published under a CC-BY 4.0 license. PDFs prior to Série 6, Volume 31 (2022) contain an erroneous copyright line. The error is corrected in later published PDFs.
- Starting from 2019, all content is licensed under the Creative Commons BY 4.0 Attribution license (CC BY 4.0). The CC BY license allows the journal to share (copy, distribute and transmit) and remix (adapt) the contribution including for commercial purposes, providing they mention the author or licensor.
- Between 2008 and 2019, all content is protected by the Creative Commons license CC BY-ND 3.0.
- Before 2008, all rights are reserved on the content
Archiving Policy
Indexed in: the Journal is indexed in Zentralblatt and Mathematical Reviews.
To ensure a long term preservation and access to the journal content, it will be stored in the CLOCKSS archive.
The metadata are available via an OAI-PMH server.
Open archive deposit policy
The AFST allows authors to deposit their publication on open archives, with the agreement of their co-authors. Authors may deposit all versions of their article, including the editor's version, without embargo, and provided that they indicate the publication url of the original article in The AFST.
Fees
The Annales de la Faculté des Sciences de Toulouse is a diamond open access journal with no publication fee (APC).
Publication costs are covered by institutions (Université Toulouse III Paul Sabatier, INSMI and Université Grenoble Alpes) through Centre Mersenne.
Peer Review Policy
Submissions will be sent to one or several experts for a report. Reviewers are asked to declare any conflicts of interest...
